GaETC is back for its annual slate in Atlanta. As far as professional development related to STEM, STEAM, robotics, engineering, and technology in general, the GaETC is a great opportunity. Between the poster sessions, panels, workshops, keynote speakers, luncheons, demonstrations, and exhibit hall, there’s something for everyone.
Last year I attended along with one of my colleagues, who is accompanying me again this year…yay! Although we will be spending time in differing sessions since she focuses on IT, there are a few things we are looking forward to doing together:
- Being entertained by the likes of Chris Craft and Leslie Fisher
- Attending the “Totally 80s” reception party (I’m going to rock that arcade!)
- Participating in the Meals of Hope community service program
- Playing the “Level Up Your Learning” attendee game
I’m also looking forward to reconnecting with a few companies I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know, specifically, Everfi, BirdBrain Technologies, and IMADE3D. With around 200 exhibitors set up, they’ll be plenty more to check out. I can’t wait to share with you guys what cool stuff I find this year.
